09:05 AM ET 06.02 | A person familiar with the situation says the Bobcats have met with Indiana Pacers assistant coach Brian Shaw about their vacant head coaching position. The person spoke to The Associated Press Friday on condition of anonymity because Charlotte has not made its list of candidates public. Shaw won five NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers - three as a player and two as an assistant coach.

I imagine you say this because of his history as a Laker, and I say just as another Laker, one Byron Scott, Shaw would be walking into a disastrous situation as did Scott and destine for failure. However, in the case of Shaw, it dictates a clueless owner and clueless personnel so inherently, it just not worth the time. This hiring if hired in no way to Shaw, should be considered an opportunity (fair). Stay away from it Brain!

This is not news. Charlotte has interviewed every coach from AAU trainers to old washed up NBA Head coaches looking for someone to take that position.
