Sandoval investigated in sexual assault case

09:43 AM ET 06.03 | San Francisco Giants slugger Pablo Sandoval is being investigated in a sexual assault case, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Dept. "No charges have been filed. He was not arrested, he was not detained," Deputy April Skalland said. "He was interviewed with his lawyer present and he cooperated." Eric Geffon, Sandoval's attorney, said his client met with the sheriff's department Friday regarding what Geffon called a "consensual" sexual relationship. Sandoval was staying at a beach resort in the Monterey area about 90 minutes from San Francisco.
