Kid comes from Bishop Luers in Fort Wayne. They've been a football powerhouse. He'll do nice things up in South Bend.

You want to be humbled? Look at your record over the last 20 years. Average at best.

"Average at best?" For Domers, it stinks.

It says a lot about the allure of ND that even with its recent past record, top players choose them over more (recently) successful programs.

The kid grew up as pretty much a local. This is like a kid who grew up in Byan, TX picking the Aggies over Michigan. That doesn't hold true for kids who grew up in Lubbock. Going to school somewhere else means at least 4-5 years away from that godforsaken hell-hole.

I'd pick anybody over Michigan.

Time for some popcorn. One thought for the domers on the QB position-Gunner does not seem to fit well with with Kelley's offense while 2013 commit Zaire does. How do you see it?

For any supposed "top" program it stinks. ND hasn't been relevant in years. No BCS wins?!?!? NBC would have better ratings showing "Housewives of South Bend" on Saturday afternoons.

It's good to have some local guys on a national team. And it looks like THE premier rivalry in all of college football--the most glamorous by far--is on the cusp of being re-established: University of Southern California versus The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.
