11:02 AM ET 06.03 | The injuries continue to take a toll on the UFC's scheduled lineup, as Jon Fitch has been forced out of a planned bout with Aaron Simpson at UFC on FUEL TV 4. The news was first reported by the Wrestling Observer, and confirmed via Bob Cook, the trainer for Fitch, by MMAFighting.com. Fitch (23-4-1) was looking to bounce back after a 12-second KO loss to Johny Hendricks late in 2011. He is a former contender to the UFC's welterweight title.

so many events, talent is stretched....also, with all of the extra filler, the top fighters feel like they can take more time between fights...fights worth more, so fighters train harder and are more likely to get hurt....result is top fighters fighting once or twice a year IF they don't hurt themselves in training....the remaining fights are a bunch of crap
