08:24 AM ET 06.04 | Warde Manuel is settling into his new gig in Storrs, Conn., which isn't to say he's not still awfully busy. Manuel points to a stack of folders that stands almost as high as his 6-5 frame and laughs. There's enough reading material to last longer than TCU did in the Big East. Manuel, who began the job of overseeing the UConn athletic department full time in March, is ready to answer questions. Over the next 32 minutes, he answers plenty of them. Is there any doubt in your mind that Jim Calhoun, at 70, is coming back next season? "No," Manuel said. He's going to coach next season? "Yep," Manuel said, "all indications to me, in conversations, yeah. I haven't worried about that based on our conversations. I don't have any doubt."

He'll stay, as long as his rules apply.

QUOTE(#6):

Yup. And I'm afraid the same thing will happen at Duke when Coach K finally calls it career.

Nah, too much tradition and great academics. Being in the middle of basketball hot bed and in a premier basketball conference....Duke is here to stay. 90% of top coaches would kill for that job.

OK, gotta go throw up now....not used to saying anything nice about Duke! :-)

QUOTE(#8):

I kind of agree w/ Doc... If they decide to go w/ someone on the staff... Assume WOJO... Not sure if they will sustain it.. will be interesting to say the least

Shiyt, coach K never ages....he's better than Dick Clark. We'll prob not see a coaching change there in my lifetime......dude's gonna live/coach 200 yrs
