08:05 AM ET 06.05 | Wide receiver Justin Blackmon is again in trouble with the law, and on Monday reportedly pleaded not guilty to a charge of misdemeanor aggravated DUI in Oklahoma. [The DUI case] could have an impact on his rookie contract, which he has yet to sign. The player drafted in the fifth spot last year, Arizona's Patrick Peterson, got a fully guaranteed four-year deal worth $19.5 million. The first 16 players drafted are eligible for fully guaranteed contracts, but the Jaguars could insist on clauses to void guarantees if he is arrested again. Blackmon's arrest comes just when the Jaguars were starting their caravan to try to sell tickets outside of Jacksonville. Blackmon is scheduled to appear at an event in Waycross, Ga., on Friday night.

"The DUI case could have an impact on his contract"?
It will, big time. This is going to cost Blackmon some $$$$$.

This guy was juiced up to look like an angel prior to the draft. Hopefully, it's not a sign of things to come.

He pleaded not guilty after blowing more than twice the legal limit on the breath analyser. If I were the Jags, I'd be more worried about that attitude - it shows a lack of ability to learn from one's mistakes.
