08:27 AM ET 06.05 | Among those helping set a Staples Center record for attending a Kings game were a creative group of fans in some expensive seats. Behind the Devils bench, some fans held up huge cardboard heads of characters from MTV's reality series "Jersey Shore." Photos from the game show blown-up heads of The Situation, J-Woww and Snooki right behind [Peter DeBoer] on the bench as his Devils fell 4-0 in Game 3 and now stare at a three-game deficit for Lord Stanley's Chalice. Another shot displayed heads of The Situation, DJ Pauly D and Snooki. There were no sightings of Ronnie, Sammi Sweetheart, Vinny, Angelina or Deena. ... [There is no telling if coach DeBoer or any of the players] are even in on the joke.

They did the "Mar-ty" chant so much more melodically than in MSG, I must admit.
But they really should know that (I believe) none of those idiots are from NJ, right?
Maybe get a big...okay REALLY big poster of Rex Ryan or something

Come on man, the team is from New Jersey. That's all that matters.

At least there weren't any green men hanging around.

My wife is from NJ and I still won't defend that state........

OH I know, I'm just messing....
Yeah, glad the green guys aren't there....but in jersey, they would be mistaken for toxic refugees or something

Exactly, which made the whole thing even funnier.

Or Penalty Box flashers

I didn't like the first goal last night. I hate it when the goalie has the puck under his pad and they won't blow the whistle. It didn't really matter though and it seemed like the Devils were getting more and more tired as the game wore on.

This is trivial compared to the taunting that goes on in other NHL cities.

Reminds me of a joke (nothing intended toward your wife- just reminded me of a joke.)
The boss walks into a room. Two interns are chatting about hockey.
"There's only two things that come from New Jersey: Ugly women and hockey players."
The boss clears his throat. "Gentlemen, my wife comes from New Jersey!"
Second intern quickly jumps in. "Really! What position does she play?"

I've heard bad things. My best friend lives in New York.

It's much worse than that.

WOW! You guys are cruel. (Accurate but cruel). I can hear the music and lyrics to "Take Me Home Concrete Roads" softly in the background!

L.A fans have reason to celebrate. It's been a loooooooooong time coming. Hopefully, NJ fans are mature enough to understand their elation. They've been there a few times themselves.
