08:44 AM ET 06.05 | 'Tis the season for summer football camps, where connections are made all over again. Alabama held its first of several scheduled camps over the weekend, and in addition to hosting some of the nation's top uncommitted recruits from the classes of 2013 and 2014, the Alabama staff took the opportunity to solidify the commitments of some of its top prospects. Alabama commits O.J. Howard and Reuben Foster have made Crimson Tide fans nervous with recent visits to and favorable public comments about Auburn. Both Howard and Foster visited Tuscaloosa over the weekend, and after spending some time with each other ... both seem to have solidified their commitments to the Tide, according to a report from BamaOnline.

basically said he choose Mich over Bama because he wanted an education and degree that meant something down the road when football was over and Mich academics were superior.

Wow. A recruit said something unflattering about a school they didn't pick. Stop the presses. This may be a first, lol.

Sweet. That's why we're Michigan. Satan can pay players all he wants but he can't give them a decent degree.

Yes, that envelope full of money is just a temporary fixation. If they don't go to the NFL they will be left without an education and be working, at best, in a hotel laundry folding sheets and towels.

No, I don't need a job. I am retired and doing quite nicely thank-you!
