08:12 AM ET 06.06 | The Blazers have their GM and likely a coach in Kaleb Canales, which will leave the rest of the summer to the roster. According to Olshey, he wants to put all of his efforts into gathering all the information necessary for the upcoming draft, then the next step would be contacting current Trail Blazer players, and finally focusing on the head coach position and that will likely be during the free agency period. Speaking of the free agency period, Steve Nash to Portland may not be an option with Olshey at the helm. He's not interesting in bringing in veterans for momentary success. "I want to make it clear, we're not looking for quick fixes," Olshey said. "We're not looking for aging veterans."

I would rather see a full rebulid then a half **** attempt and effort. Quick fix ae nothing but that. Two years later you're back to the same problem.

Seems like they've been rebuilding since the last good run in the early 2000s...they used to stay fully loaded but couldnt get past the Lakers

I hear you-I was just joking with the low win countbut it does smell of full rebuild mode-

They might as well trade any asset they have fof picks... that's what rebuilding should be about...

Steve Nash has come a long way since his days as the leader of the Rogues. He was the guy who shot Cyrus. I can still see him clicking the two soda bottles together while singing "warriors....can you come out to play-yay!"
