08:18 AM ET 06.06 | Jeremy Guthrie had another bad night Tuesday, and he was visibly upset after what became a 10-0 Rockies loss. A few minutes before, manager Jim Tracy had said the Rockies still needed Guthrie in their rotation. But now Guthrie was talking as if his job was in jeopardy after giving up seven runs on 11 hits, including a pair of two-run homers, in 3 1/3 innings. ... Guthrie was asked if he expected to stay in the rotation. He said: "I don't take anything for granted. If they kicked me off the team today it wouldn't surprise me. I haven't earned the spot here, I haven't pitched very well. I respect the game and I understand how it works. If I don't make another start here it wouldn't surprise me."

Impressive trade by Duquette! Hamels is doing pretty good w/ the O's. Maybe the O's can sign Guthrie back.

Guthrie needs to go to a pitcher's park such as LA or San Diego to get his confidence back. He will again be a viable big leaguer.

Maybe you need to revisit Colorado Springs and try to get your act together. But on second tho0ght maybe the entire team needs to go also.

Walk right in it's around the back,
Just a half mile from the railroad tracks,
You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant, excepting Alice

This is the guy who submitted an arbitration request of $10.25 Million from the Orioles after going 9-17 last year......Kinda looks like Duquette made a pretty good trade there......
