Brandon said he received a steady drumbeat of complaints about nearly every proposed change -- from football under the lights at U-M stadium to numbers on the helmets -- that has been undertaken on his watch. "But you know what? I don't care," Brandon said. ... Today's U-M fans can even hire out the football stadium for weddings, walk down the aisle through the players' tunnel and broadcast the event on the scoreboard. For a price, Brandon said, "we'll get you the marching band." He also said the changes are working, with more are on the way. "I think I can officially declare that Michigan is back."

It can be a mixed blessing (in terms of unreasonable fan expectations) having a very successful first year like Brady Hoke did (just ask Charlie Weis) but if his team can play with Alabama on September 1st I will take a drink of the Kool Aid (and this is coming from an ND alum and fan).
