08:21 AM ET 06.06 | In hoping to move on from the rivalry, John Calipari may have breathed new life into Indiana-Kentucky. Calipari said he was doing what was right for his program. When Crean, along with Indiana athletic director Fred Glass, tried to reach a compromise, Calipari basically told the IU coach to get over it. "Like I told Tommy (Crean), 'Tommy, move on. It's done. We're good. I'm good, you're good.'" ... As for [Fred Glass'] notion that neutral-site games were not fair to Indiana students who wanted to see IU-Kentucky in Assembly Hall once during their college careers, Calipari scoffed at that, too. "They're only two hours away," Calipari said. "Are they that poor? They couldn't get to that building?"

we could use the extra wins over a semi-ranked team

Interesting timing to this comment, as to both points.

Whatever happened to the nose lift bar or chin lift bar....or whatever it was the spammers used to tout????

No Calipari, IU students want to see you and your arrogant team getting their butts kicked (AGAIN) in Bloomington. Plus, do you really think IU fans will be able to get a seat anywhere at an arena in Kentucky?

And yer only 2 hours away from Lucas Oil.....oh wait it don't give you that Home court feel you have to have in the big games.

The offer was to play both games of a two game contract in Indiana. So claiming IU fans wouldn't be able to get tickets is a silly argument.

He is a total horse's a**. When UofL goes to Rupp Arena we have been told not to bring the cheerleaders, because there's no place for them. I'm shocked they provide seats for the assistant coaches.
They are a kingdom all unto themselves. "It's their world, they just let us live in it"!
I'm so thankful to be a Cardinal!! I wouldn't trade my school, and any team for any other.
