08:27 AM ET 06.06 | There is a clock ticking in New Jersey, one that has more to do with Zach Parise's career than the Stanley Cup final. The clock can be stopped for at least 72 more hours if the Devils can find a way to derail the Kings' runaway train and bring the series back to the Rock for Game 5 on Saturday. ... Whenever the end comes, it will mark the first day of the rest of Parise's professional life, and unless Devils owner Jeff Vanderbeek finds a benefactor by July 1 willing to immediately invest millions into a dramatically front-loaded deal to keep the captain, it's all but impossible to imagine No. 9 will stay, even if the notion of being a career Devil appeals to him.

Man, that is good. I had to look it up to get it, but apparently there's a state called New Jersey. There's also a few other states with "New" in their names, yet New Orleans is not a state. Weird, I know.

I highly doubt if they saw that pun when they did wrote it. Seriously though, you don't think the Devils will break down and buy him a new sweater when he resigns with them?
