08:12 AM ET 06.07 | Talk about being born at the right time. Kevin Garnett has made nearly $300 million during his 17-year career, thanks in large part to being the right player in the right place at the right time. Garnett started by turning pro before the NBA banned high school players. He was also a 19-year old rookie at time when the NBA granted free agency to players after just three years. This led to Garnett signing a $126 million contract extension during his third season, and just prior to NBA rules changed rookie contracts. And then in 2003, Garnett signed a $100 million extension with the Timberwolves just before the NBA changed the salary cap rules in 2005. This has a led to a career earnings that dwarfs those of other players.

At least give him some credit. How many HS draftees have bombed out? Unlike , ahem, Kwame Brown, KG's performance on the court allowed him to get the market rate each time the opportunity arose.

Good for KG..........now all that should be left is for the C's to make the Finals (perhaps win it) and then re-sign for say 5.5 mil and strengthen his chance of going into the hall as a Celtic. I mean three finals (could be 2-1 or 1-2) ECF & Semi in five years, plus poss. 2 more years as a Celtic would give him 7 great years in Boston. This would further increase the likelihood of him seriously being considered a Celt for hall. As it stands if it ends (Celtics tenure) this year, it would only be 5 out of 17 years in Beantown. KG its worth it to stay at a bargin rate, you shouldn't be hurting after earning in excess of 300 million.

Yeah Yeah. TD should be worth more.
Anyways, I wonder if Pop knows what a double team is because if he does we never saw it on KD.
When will the media stop giving him a pass on this piss poor coaching.
He should return that COY immediately and resign. Then go apologize to Timmeh, Manu, and TP for drinking too much on the job and costing the 2 shots at another title. Bonner 25 mins in game 3, started the snowball rolling, the rest is history. I didn't think it was possible, but he is giving Spo a run for his money as

OKC fans congrats your team will represent well in the finals. Especially if RW remembers who is the scoring champ and give him the ball.

So, FanNation, you can't fix your lag problems but you've found a way to insert ads to overlay on top of pages.
Well, at least we know where the priorities are.

I told you buddy what was gonna happen. They let the Spurs bash them in gm 1, I think they were definately playing the pick n roll to perfection seeing how OKC was going to play it. Game 2 could be argued that OKC let that one slip. Finally in gm 3 like I said the only way OKC had a chance to compete is if they played zone and make TP beat them. Finally Brooks decided to stay with it and look at the outcome. No one wants any piece of Ibaka no matter who they play in the Finals from the East.
If they get Boston, it is over for the greenmen, I'm calling it now, if they play them; then OKC will NOT play zone they will play extended man only. It will be KG vs Ibaka and KG wont have it easy like he has with Miami AT ALL!. They have no answer for KD no one does at this point. I think it will be OKC in 5.
If they play Miami then it will be a better series they will play zone a little more in this series because Miami sucks at playing through it, but they also will be good playing man in this series because they match up well. This series will have to make Lebron Man up or get rolled over he is the key to the series. In the end OKC should prevail but it may go 7 gms.
Your thoughts?

Allen is probably out, Bradley comes back healthy and takes his role in the starting lineup. They bring Peitrus back aother yr, green (if healthy) is resigned, and KG plays two more seasons at the center position....
Starting 5 - Rondo, Bradley, PP, Bass, KG
Rotation - Green, Peitrus, Daniels, (insert backup center here)....
