They say the change is something that not only will help in recruiting but also boost morale and the energy around the facility, something that was sorely needed. ... I don't know if those guys were on the offensive side, but WV didn't seem to have too many issues offensively, most games.

I don't follow WV very close but my guess is that the departing coaches were ones that the previous coach hired and Halgorsen inherited when he took over. If that's the case, not a surprise move.

I've said the schedule was in their favor all along...only the rusty cows away among the contenders. Would say it is like UGa getting a sched break but at least they have to play every conference opponent...even though most of them are at home.
