08:06 AM ET 06.08 | It was pointed out during the Game 6 broadcast that had LeBron James suffered through the kind of night Paul Pierce had, the national reaction would be far less sympathetic. Much like his teammates, Pierce struggled with his shot, connecting on just four of 18 attempts, and he finished with nine points, five rebounds, three steals and three turnovers over 31 minutes. All while watching counterpart James dominate in a do-or-die situation by scoring 45 points on 19-of-26 shooting. ... One thing's clear: This team has faith in its captain. "He'll bounce back," Celtics coach Doc Rivers said. "Paul is a big-game player. Game 7s are the biggest that you can possibly have."

I'm not losing faith in Pierce, but I will say his play this series has been nothin short of very sub par. Its the reason this series is not over and the Celtics find themselves faced with a game 7 on the road. Its gonna be real tough thanks to Paul.

On the other hand, Lebron had a simply spectacular and Lebonificient game last night and I applaud him loudly. Lebron has been nothing short of spectacular this series. Miami's problems are all of the others on that team, Wade in particular!

Finally Spo put a bigger defender on Rondo. It only took like 6 Games to make the obvious adjustment.

But this guy still doesn't have a clue.

Why would you say your star was fearless? Obviously he doesn't understand the implications of that statement.

Lebron doesn't fear anyone or any situation.

Spo should apologizes for such an insult.

Lebron played a spectacular game last night, Let's see is he will keep it up. Even his demeanor looked different, maybe this is the start of what all his supporters hoped for and this should make his haters hate even more!

Can we hate on him once the Heat lose to the Thunder ? :)

Go for it, Lebron was spectacular last night no one can take that away from him. The guy put up stats that no one has done since Wilt! WILT come on give the man a break...I want them to play the Thunder, I personally don't want to see a Boston vs OKC that is a one sided series ending in 5 games if that, at least the Heat will stretch it.

He is probably a candidate for the HOF - simply for being the franchise player for the Celts for ~ 15 years and for sticking with one team for his entire career - a rare feat in today's NBA.

He is the Truth so I expect him to far exceed the stats he had for game 6
