09:37 AM ET 06.09 | Mike Shanahan won't be coaching Peyton Manning with the Redskins, but he does have him as a tenant. The Associated Press reports that Manning is living at Shanahan's 35,000-square-foot mansion in Denver. Shanahan was in the process of building the house when he was fired by the Broncos in 2009. He's held onto the house, though, and now the ex-Broncos coach is the landlord of the current Broncos quarterback. The arrangement is supposed to be temporary while Manning finds a place of his own, but the amenities might lead him to stay awhile. According to a Denver Post piece on the home, Shanahan's place has a poker room, a bowling alley, a "wine residence," an arcade, a swimming pool with two bridges and a 3,600-square foot garage in case Manning decides to start selling computers for a little extra scratch.

35,000 square feet!?!? Damn! Can you imagine what the electric and gas bills are on that thing?

Geez, check to see whether Loomis was consulted on the wiring. They Skins may be looking at the new playbook. Manning won't stay long. Doesn't strike me as the type to need a poker room. Can you see him, Eli, and Archie with some cigars, chips and beer around the table?

What about the staff. 35K sq.ft. That's at least four maids, a cook, two maintenance men, and a cabana boy.
