Miami waiting for NCAA punishment

08:55 AM ET 06.10 | A high-level Miami official said the school hasn't been given an updated timetable by the NCAA but will not be surprised if it doesn't receive its punishment until after National Signing Day in February. The UM official was disgusted by minor violations found in the basketball program, such as providing transportation to players' family members: "That should never happen." Missouri and ex-UM coach Frank Haith has said privately he had no idea his assistant coaches were providing those benefits and has told the NCAA that UM never paid basketball players.

"The UM official was disgusted by minor violations found in the basketball program" but, I guess, thought all the goings-on with the fb program was no big deal

If you are on a UM thread and call someone IDIOTS, there is no payoff to svt.
Payment is only in effect if you are on another thread (not related to Da 'U) and use the registered, trademarked word towards another poster.

I didn't know Miami had a basketball team.
But their football team has been cheating for 50 years, and not one ACC title to show for it.
Paul Dee had to drop dead to try and get out of explaining why he tried to kill USC for one violation, while his career highlight was running the most corrupt collegiate athletic program in American History. I wish he could've had the heart to stay alive long enough to see the results of his punishment to USC, and put the punishments to his corrupt mortal soul off another year. I think I smell BBQ for lunch... or is that just Paul Dee burning.

having randy shannon as coach for 4 years should be punishment enough. it would be nice if the NCAA would hurry the **** up though.
its so hard to find a yacht with coke and hookers these days, i'm not very happy about that

Touchy today huh? Rumor is the U's baseball team is next on the sanction list. Getting em all at once. I'd say clean up the athletic department, but to do that Miami would have to just shut it down. More amusing this way for the rest of us. Hahaha!

not at all..
if by sanction list you mean stuck with a coach who should retire, i agree.. if you're referring to something else i honestly have no idea what you're talking about, i haven't heard anything..
if the gainesville justice system didn't give preferential treatment to your football players, would you even be able to field a team?
