Oklahoma's latest Twitter fiasco

08:19 AM ET 06.11 | Twitter can be a whole lot of things, including a headache for Bob Stoops. Kenny Stills complaining about compliance. Tony Jefferson lamenting his lack of a spot on the All-Big 12 team. And the latest Twitter fiasco in Soonerland: Kameel Jackson's impulsive announcement that he was transferring to Texas A&M. ... If Jackson is able to return to the field this season, it could be a big boost for an OU team suddenly lacking experienced wideouts. He started two games and played in 11 as a true freshman, finishing with 12 receptions for 165 yards. "There's no guarantee for the fall," Stoops said. "That'll be my decision, and it was my decision to allow him to at least work through summer to see where he'll be."

Very true. TCU's crap (and some others) seems to be a "deep and broad" one timer but Stoops is constantly dealing with <hit lately...or so it seems.

+1.
It's like people posting status updates on FB constantly ---> I'm sipping a latte at SB -- I'm sitting down to watch Oprah -- I'm wiping my Kiffin after a big ol' squat...
Stoopid.

For college players and incoming recruits twitter does more damage than good. Would be better off without a twitter account.
Then once they are in the NFL they can get a twitter account then tweet all kinds of dumb stuff.

You know the coaches hate that stuff. Nothing but an open avenue for broadcasting idiocy.

Ya hear where a LB for the Broncos was taking pics of the playbook this past week to show his followers what he would be doing in various coverages and blitz and posting on twitter?
Bright dude...

Sorry, ICE.
Old habits die hard. I sometimes still have Ron Zook jokes run through my mind. I know, I have a problem.
