Kings admit to distractions at home

08:25 AM ET 06.11 | The Stanley Cup express jumped the tracks last week to set up Monday's Game 6, before which the Kings lost two straight after going 15-2 in the second season. "When your bus has to pull by 10 limos parked on the road ready for the after-party, that's definitely motivation," Devils Coach Peter DeBoer said Sunday. ... The Kings' players were candid about outside issues affecting them before Game 4. "I think a lot of us before Game 4 were distracted with family members and friends, the Cup coming in the building," said defenseman Drew Doughty, who had a point in each of the first four games of the Final. "A lot of things we have to put aside. Family always comes first for everyone, but at this point of the year, the team has to come first."

I haven't heard a post that loud in a looooong time. Right away, with that, kinda felt they wouldn't win that night. Just like game four, ringing the post were their chances. They're beating Marty, they're just not beating the posts (what was it, four last game?).

Somehow I get the feeling it's not going to end with this season.

I waited 18 yrs (the sweep a few years ago didn't count, it wasn't the conference finals). Plus it might be might last series this year to gloat about.

I don't know that they are beating Marty, per se. They seem to be hitting the post so often cos Marty is cutting down the angles so well and the best the Kings can do is clang a few off a post.
Nobody expects…

my son was in the kitchen and came in asking...'Did I just hear a post"
Loudest post I ever heard though, was Rangers game 1 of the finals. Tikkanen rang one off in O.T. off the cross bar
