07:59 AM ET 06.12 | When it comes to contract extensions, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, David Harris, Nick Mangold, Darrelle Revis and Mark Sanchez have all come before Dustin Keller. The Jets tight end, who is entering the fifth and final year of his rookie deal, said it was his offseason goal to join that group and get an extension done. But Keller said so far there has been no offer and the sides haven't gotten too far in initial talks. "Obviously, I'd like to be one of those core guys that they consider that's going to help the team win and be part of that," Keller said tonight at his bowling tournament to benefit three charities, including his Dustin Keller Foundation. "I feel I am, but still you want to get that contract done. That pretty much makes it official."

Little does he know that Tim Tebow is being groomed to take his place.

I think Keller would do well to find those opportunities in less caustic locker rooms. Get to the market, son!

Is he too dumb to know he has a ticket to normalcy.

Don't walk away dude, run. Run fast and run far, just run.

Imagine how much more productive Keller would be if he had an upper echelon QB throwing to him?

In some cases, the grass really is greener on the other side of the fence.

I think the mere fact that he still believes in the team means he'd be a great addition to almost any team out there.

Keller you should know the ropes by now being in the league for four years. It is the same old story it is not what you have done in the past but what they think you can do in the future.
