NBA Finals: A tale of two villains

08:08 AM ET 06.12 | In many ways, the NBA Finals set up as a delicious matchup, one many believe could be repeated in future seasons. So who do you root for? The scoundrels on the court, who put together a mini All-Star squad and in the process became the league's top villains, or the scoundrels in the front office, who stole a team from a city after the league's blackmail plot failed? Oh yeah, let's not forget that the Thunder are owned by a couple of Oklahoma City billionaires whose tactics in acquiring and moving the team from Seattle led one columnist to dub them "snakes on the plains." It was a kind description. ... If we're lucky, these Finals will be the start of a transcendent championship rivalry, the likes of which the NBA hasn't seen since Magic vs. Bird.

Yup.....the miami guys, though still in their prime are not getting betterthe thunder could still get better....yikesPlus, if miami doesnt win, they still might be broken up

I think they will give Miami a mulligan next year, if they lose, because of Bosh going down for part of the postseason. If they lose again after that, then yeah it's time to admit failure and move on. Plus they are using up more and more cap as the years move on.

Miami was doomed to fail to begin with. If they don't win a title this year they are given 1 last chance next year or broken up immediately and that's the end of the ride for Miami.
