08:16 AM ET 06.12 | Nick Saban may again be able to turn the tide, so to speak. Alabama's efforts to steal a five-star running back away from the Georgia Bulldogs may be one step closer to happening after the Crimson Tide hosted Bulldog commitment Derrick Henry over the weekend for an unofficial recruiting visit. Henry, a 6-foot-3, 240-pound running back from Yulee, Florida, is among the most coveted offensive prospects in the country in the Class of 2013. He has been committed to Mark Richt and UGA since July of 2011. A steady and unrelenting pursuit from [Saban] and his staff, however, has kept the Tide in the running for the elite athlete, and as recently as a month ago, Henry told recruiting websites that he was reconsidering his commitment.

Those Florida schools are just like ours in Texas...can't keep the pilfering thieves away from our HS players. Schools in both states need to give their bagmen more $$$$$$.

What Saban does is criminal. The pulling of scholarships, bullsh*t medical red-shirts, asking kids to delay their enrollment time, etc. It's unethical and usually NOT in the kids best interest. He forgets this is the COLLEGE ball and not the NFL.

Unethical behavior in CFB? Nah.

Let's see...go to Georgia and hear how great you are and that if recruiting classes win championships Georgia would have twelve by now under the Reverend Richt or go to Bama and actually win a championship and go in the top five of the NFL draft. Tough choice.

I am not a Bama or Sabin fan, but my guess that he is not the Lone Ranger in that regard.
