08:03 AM ET 06.13 | In the eyes of Seneca Wallace, three is most definitely a crowd. [Wallace] said today that he and Colt McCoy will "probably not" both be on the roster behind rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden, and that he doesn't want to be the No. 3 QB. "Can any of you guys see all three of us being here?" Wallace said. "You've written about it, so that answers your question ... Probably not," he said. He also made it clear he doesn't want to be the third quarterback. Coach Pat Shurmur indicated today it's possible all three will remain, and said he has an idea who would be No. 2 and who would be No. 3. McCoy has been taking the second-team reps in camp and Wallace the third. The Browns also like developmental QB Thad Lewis, who's been going fourth.

Could be worse.

He could be on the Jets.

Senaca is the official spokesperson for Mike Holgrem... Expect McCoy to be out. Poor kid. Throwing arm was never the same after the Championship injury, yo.

June 13, 2012  08:15 AM ET

Even worse for the Browns, they could improve a lot and still end up in last place in their division.

A browns QB thread? WOW

June 13, 2012  08:35 AM ET

Trouble brewing? Is this a beer thread? Mmmmm....the best part of going out to eat when away from home is trying whatever local microbrew is on tap. Try a Shipyard Ale in Maine, or a Moose Drool in Montana. Neither of those bottles real well, but on tap they're something else.

Kinda like being picked last for kickball.

Weeden will be 29 this October. Wallace is the only guy older than him. Makes sense if you are looking for a mentor for the guy. What does McCoy bring to the table in meetings, " I hope I can throw a ball as good as you when I get grow up?" "What were the 80s really like?"

I think the Browns will end up showcasing McCoy in preseason in order to facilitate a trade.

The donuts. It's the fastest way to Mike Holmgren's heart.

Four QB's you say? Are you sure?

Interns are digging deep for stories today.

McCoy should be #1 with Weeden starting the season at #2. McCoy may not the long-term answer, but last season he had an injured line, no running game most of year (Hillis/Hardesty injured), and one of the worst receiving corps in the league. Why not give Weeden more time to acclimate and learn the playbook instead of cutting it down to his currently level of familiarity. It worked in Green Bay. Clearly Shurmer and Holmgren are feeling the heat.

I'm no Browns fan, nor a Texas (re: McCoy) fan so I have no dog in this hunt.

Browns fans have to be getting tired of this ridiculous circus.

Avoid the rush quit now.

Spot on. I would hope that one day they will have professionals running the organization.
