08:13 AM ET 06.13 | Chris Clemons has tens of thousands of dollars in fines staring him in the face. [Clemons] was absent from the Seahawks' practice on Tuesday, which marked the start of the team's mandatory three-day minicamp. The absence was not excused, coach Pete Carroll indicated, and subjects him to a fine of as much as $10,000 under the new collective-bargaining agreement. He will be fined an additional $20,000 if he misses a second day and another $30,000 if he misses a third day. ... "This was kind of a late development that he's not (here)," Carroll said. "So I'm a little bit surprised that he's not here. We've had open communications with the agent, and with Chris, and feel like everything is on the up-and-up and very amicable and all that."
