08:18 AM ET 06.13 | Entering the series, much of the Finals focus centered around LeBron James and how the matchup might work for or against his legacy. There was a different narrative emerging from the Heat's 105-94 loss in Game 1 here, though -- certainly from a Miami perspective, at least. Dwyane Wade looked old. His game did, anyway. His performance did. And his ability to be his old self, meaning his younger self. That might be harsh. It also might disappear in a massive comeback effort by Wade in Game'2 back here Thursday. We have seen it before. Wade down and doubted, using it as fuel, and proving everyone wrong. They need that from him now. They haven't in this postseason, until now.

the heat gave up too many offensive rebounds, especially to Collison, also The thunder won even when Harden scored less then 10 pts, not a good sign for the heat. Wade's FG% has been declining from rd 1

What is hurting Wade's game is Lebron coming to his team and taking over. Ever since Lebron came, his game hasn't been the same and especially now that he claims the second fiddle role. Wade has a better jump shot and should be leading. Lebron scored 30 pts last night on layups and couldn't hit a jumper with Durant guarding him.

Spo has been getting out coached since last year in the finals. Spo doesn't know how to shake things like Doc and Brooks.

Bosh is falling in love launching 3's and is hurting his game. Miami has no post game and Lebron is not a good shooter. King Durant is the best player in the league, hands down.

Yeah I'm sure Spo getting out coach has a lot to do with it. 3 superstars and he isn't using them effectively or making the correct adjustments during the game.

true, but it was Battier and Chalmers that got that start going because nobody cared to cover them. Bosh starting spaces the floor and gets Wade better looks. I'm just glad OKC won. I was worried there in the beginning that the glitz and glam of playing in the Finals would get to them.

You can see the jitters, but once the game started flowing they got back into business.
