08:23 AM ET 06.13 | Patience, Rangers fans, patience. Roy Oswalt needs another start. Or two. Or however many it takes before the pitching situation reaches Defcon 1 in Arlington. While starter Colby Lewis was masterfully utilizing 76 pitches to throw seven innings of one-hit baseball Tuesday night for the Texas Rangers (he finished with 105 in nine innings), Oswalt reached his quota [in Frisco] for the night, 85 pitches, just two batters into the fourth. ... Oswalt regularly reached the low 90s with his fastball and made relatively easy work of the Midland RockHounds through the first two innings. But he bounced a curveball or two or three, and it came back to bite him in a three-run Midland third. "My breaking pitches weren't there [Tuesday]," said Oswalt.

He's a pro. The pitches will come around. When the Rangers need him, he'll be there. The important thing is that his back is sound. Meanwhile, Lewis looked great last night.

Ranger fans have patience. He is still in spring trading and probably will be ready around the all star break.
