08:31 AM ET 06.13 | A football class -- specifically, Football 202 -- was in session Tuesday at the University of Nebraska. "The difference between a great defense and an average defense is this much," said [Bo Pelini], his fingers an inch apart. "But that much is tough to get to." But Pelini is confident Nebraska's going to get there. And soon, at that. "Coming out of this spring, we're probably more multiple than we've been since I've been here," Pelini said. The standard, as always, he assured the crowd is to be one of the best defenses in the country. "We will be," he said. "You play to your strengths and offset your weaknesses." Hearing from Nebraska's head man was no doubt the highlight for many of the Husker fans who attended [the one-day clinic].

I feel less multiple than normal today.

huh?

Say what? There is coach speak and then there is confused ramblings that would get the average person required to be evaluated by a professional.
Maybe Bo Knows, but one is not enough. Maybe he just finished reading The Art of War by Sun Tzu.

Just watch TV today, and don't skip the commercials.

You'll get at least 5 or 6 different medicinal (or nutritional/supplemental) options for whatever malady is upsetting your multiplicity, along with a very long list of just-as-bad-as-the-original-issue problems that you may have to endure to return to normal.

Chewing on sum green turf is next then...

and learning to clap with just your palms is after that....

I guess there's no room for an above average defense then.

June 13, 2012  09:48 AM ET

Bo breaking it down for the peeps. I wonder where he is going to come up with a l.b. like David that can cover sideline to sideline.

This is was Bo really meant when he did this "held his fingers an inch apart",....... also was not aware that Darth Vader was a Blackshirt....;)

Whoa. Those are some pretty heavy hitters.

Y'know, this thread is really kind of ridiculous. Everybody knows that SEC defenses are far and away the best. Why are we even talking about a B1G defense?
