08:19 AM ET 06.14 | This season hasn't gone according to plan for Colorado, particularly shortstop Troy Tulowitzki. [Tulowitzki] left a game early Wednesday in Colorado Springs after appearing to aggravate a left groin injury. Tulowitzki returned to Denver to be re-evaluated by doctors, but the re-injury will likely push back his return date to the Rockies. Tulowitzki -- who was playing his first game of a rehab assignment with Triple-A Colorado Springs -- hit a two-run homer in his first at-bat and singled in his second trip to the plate. But he exited for a pinch runner following his last at-bat. "It scared him," Rockies manager Jim Tracy said. "So we took all precautions. I don't think it's serious, but I don't know when he will resume his rehab or join us."

No need to rush him back. This team isn't going anywhere.

Take your time this guy is one of a kind!!!

Agreed there's no need to rush him back. Unless he brings some quality pitching and a new pitching coach back with him from Colo Spgs, it won't make any difference in how the season's going. Just take your time and get completely healthy for next year, Tulo.

The Rockies already sucked with him - they're more than capable of maintaining that standard without him.
Colorado really needs to find some direction - you look at that roster and the moves they made this offseason and you have no idea how (or when) they thought they were trying to win.
