08:02 AM ET 06.15 | After Tom Coughlin addressed the Giants for the last time as a team before training camp, Ahmad Bradshaw sprinted off the field. ... "It's great to be free," Bradshaw said. Free is what the Super Bowl champions are, as they concluded a three-day mandatory mini-camp Thursday with a one-hour practice. The rookies will stay around for another week, but that didn't stop Coughlin from issuing his annual warning as he bid adieu to his veterans until the July 26 report date for training camp at the University at Albany. "Make sure that you are thinking in everything that you do; everything that you say, every place that you go," Coughlin said. "Be safe, be smart, and let's make sure that we are all able to get together at the end of July."

I do like Coughlin's approach. I think that's one of the things the GMen benefit from. They've got a coach that, as tough as he may be, cares about his players as individuals and as a team.

Good advice, especially these days. I'm sure every coach gives him team a similar send-off, except maybe Rex Ryan, who tells them to go get a *&!@#*#!! snack.

What comes as common sense to some, seems to be quantum physics to others. Unfortunately I'm not sure you can teach either, you simply get it or you don't.

Imagine, a coach that holds players to a higher standard.

Reminds me of Phil Esterhaus, the turnout sargeant on Hill Street Blues.

"Let's be careful out there."

They don't make TV shows like that anymore.

So, if she was a full sister, would she make $140 hourly? And which half is she? Top or bottom? Left or right? Does she only have half a brain, like most women who make that much money?

Ain't that the truth.

Have to give it to them, the Giants seem to be an organization that tries to treat their players like men, tries to understand that they are young and will make mistakes, but will not tolerate players that hurt the team.
