Starting QB in Seattle now a three-man race

08:08 AM ET 06.15 | Russell Wilson took his spot in an unconventional rotation this week. This week, each of the three quarterbacks competing for the starting job had one day in which he worked largely with the first-unit offense. Tarvaris Jackson was in that spot Tuesday, Matt Flynn on Wednesday and then Wilson on Thursday. So where do things stand now? "We'll sit back and make a big evaluation," coach Pete Carroll said. "We have to finalize that in the next two weeks, the end of this week and next week, to see where it comes to this point." ... Wondering about the pecking order? Well, Carroll wasn't providing any clues in that regard. "It's going to take us until we start playing games, we'll see something happening," Carroll said.

"Moe, Larry or Curly....which one will be my starting quarterback?" - Pete Carroll

Pete Carroll not realizing that now the team pays the players. You paid an awful lot for Matt Flynn to not start him. That's a heck of a lot of money only to compete for a starting job. Pack wouldn't even pay him that much to back-up Rodgers.

You know you have a mess when Tavaris Jackson is in the mix.

They better name a starter soon or the players will start taking sides.

A sneaky Pete/ Seahawk thread ....again.

Indecision is not a good sign for a head coach. No, not at all.

It should be Flynn's job to lose.

The ballboy impressed Carroll with how he was tossing the ball out to the players between plays, but his mom told Pete that he couldn't be the 4th QB.

Could have a radio call in for potentials. "Hey I work construction with this guy who can throw a brick all the way across the job site". Well damn! Get him in here.

Gee this ones hard to figure? Tavaris did nothing to lead the team anywhere last year so obviously they are looking to either cut him, trade him or put him as a backup. Wilson is too small to play QB so it has to be Flynn unless he's not shown any flair in practice.

Everybody knows that Carroll wants Wilson to start, and he could be right. But, I think Flynn is the best option to start the season, he has the experience and he can flat out play. Give Flynn the start and let Wilson develop a bit before throwing him to the lions. As for Jackson, it's still a mystery to me why this guy is still in the NFL, arena league is more his level.
