08:29 AM ET 06.15 | No one can accuse Larry Brown of starting slow in his new gig. [Brown] has added another talented transfer. The new SMU coach -- with the help of a quality staff -- has already brought in Josiah Turner (Arizona) and Crandall Head (Illinois). Now, according to multiple sources, he's added former Illinois State star freshman Nic Moore, who opted to transfer following the departure of Tim Jankovich. The most surprising aspect of the transfer may be that Illinois State athletic director Gary Friedman allowed Moore to follow Jankovich -- the coach-in-waiting at SMU. The 5-foot-9 Moore averaged 10 points and 3.9 assists per game this past season and also considered Purdue, Notre Dame and Illinois.

Runs between their legs. Actually, a real small guy that has great dribbling skills is impossible for most teams to handle or slow down. A lost art.

Also has a lot of shots blocked.... :)

Yep, there has never been a short player able to impact the college or NBA game. Is Larry Brown nuts, taking some 5' 9" kid just because he is skilled? This team will never win any game just by getting off the bus and looking good. Brown acts as if skills trump beef-on-the-hoof.
