08:34 AM ET 06.15 | Needing a little -- or a lot -- of everything, Columbus is open for business. [Blue Jackets] general manager Scott Howson has many ideas running through his mind about how to improve his team. Trading the second-overall pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft is one of them and Howson says the pick has already garnered some interest from around the league. "We've certainly listened to people. We've had a couple of expressions of interest on the pick in terms of moving down," Howson told The Morning Show on Sportsnet 960 The Fan on Thursday. "We wouldn't want to move too far down so we'll just see how it plays out next week. Traditionally, and if history repeats itself, teams get a little more serious about exchanging picks as we get closer to the draft."

Easy peasy. Toronto's #5, Kadri and Schenn for the #2 and Nash.

*snicker*

That would probably be their best bet. If they could pick up a mid first rounder and an extra second and third they could restock the team pretty well.

Probably they're looking for more immediate help. They're tired of waiting in Columbus.

are you saying that it would be no "Little Feat" for them to restock?

Excuse me, but are these the hockey threads? I don't see any mention of Parise so I think I may be lost.
