With the Wild that's more like a sentence. Agent to Parise, "ya kid I plea-bargained it down to 10 to 15."

NJ is a premiere place to play hockey, inspite of the teenage analysis written by the media. Zach wants to play for a championship club. And the Wild certainly aren't that. They need a rebuild, not a great player bound for another Cup Final. GO DEVILS ! !

If he signs with Jersey he will not finish his career in Newark as they will move in the foreseeable future

I can't see that happening with the DiPeitro and Luongo problems hanging over the leagues heads. But if he could get 4 Mill for 13 years guaranteed, hell, go for it.

Nobody's heard what Burke will offer him yet. Let's not jump to conclusions at this point...

Good luck with that..we all know how long term guaranteed contracts work out in any sport...
