09:02 AM ET 06.17 | Most people know Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford passed for 5,000 yards last season. But few people realize he also throws left-handed. If you look closely at the NFL Play 60 commercial that debuted last fall, you can see Stafford flinging a pass left-handed in the background as linebacker Stephen Tulloch helps kids with a handoff drill. Of course, backup quarterback Shaun Hill was only too quick to point out that it was only a miniball, since the Lions were playing with kids. But Stafford said he can throw a regular football a good 15 yards. Sometimes Stafford fools around in practice and throws left-handed passes to coaches.

Find the Back that's sturdy enough to hold up. They've seen some good ones come through only to lose them to injury.

Have to give the kid credit. I had going down for the count about game three last year and he killed it. This team will win some games this year, playoffs for sure and maybe beyond. All they need is for the dumb players to quit making those mistakes that costs them late games.

As long as Stafford stays healthy again you may be right.
