09:26 AM ET 06.17 | Kurt Busch's troubles with the media continued on Saturday at Michigan International Speedway. Busch had a brief, heated exchange with ESPN reporter Marty Smith after Saturday's Nationwide Series race at MIS, a week after serving a one-week suspension for making threatening comments to Sporting News reporter Bob Pockrass after the Dover Nationwide Series race. Busch, on orders from Sprint Cup team owner James Finch, avoided talking to reporters upon arriving at MIS on Thursday. But when he finished third in the race won by Joey Logano on Saturday, he had to make a mandatory appearance in the media center. As he waited to be interviewed, an MRN Radio pit reporter said on the live broadcast that Busch left the top-five area without interviewing. Busch was told of the comment and replied, "That's what everybody says, don't they." Busch then left the room to cool off. Several reporters, including Smith, with a camera crew, followed. Busch then told Smith to come over with his camera. When Smith got there, Busch said he wasn't doing interviews there, adding, "You ever hear of sarcasm?" That led to a brief exchange during which Busch said, "You don't know how long I've been working on this."

Marty Smith is a tool. I'm not a Busch fan but they are messing with him to get a story.

Busch really doesn't want a ride next year.

He did nothing wrong, they are trying really hard to bait him.

Kurt must have some sort of personality disorder ----> or he is just a 'tool'

That's what they're supposed to do. they know if they pick at him enough he'll explode and give them something to write about. Kurt needs to keep his cool and just say "Next question."

Why waste everyone's time with Busch... It is pretty obvious he doesn't want talk and who cares. The media has become evil in this country.

Gotta tell ya' -- there is something screwy going on here ... nobody else at Gibbs is having a problem except for numb-nuts. He must be doing something stupid -- as usual. The Gibbs Nationwide cars a making a ton of power and are built in-house ... on the other hand the Cup cars are using a TURD works motors and Bushy can't keep the insides from tryin' to get outside. IMHO Gibbs needs to tell TURD to stuff their motors and go back to building his own ...

Not a good day for Gibb's TURDs ...

When I went to MIS I used to sit in the infield at the second turn, right before the straightaway. You could hear them floor it.

The Dark Knight Rises. That would have been great for Sr.
