08:10 AM ET 06.18 | According to officials, something on the order of 26,000 people came out to hear what Tim Tebow had to say. In an event that was part pop concert, part prayer meeting and part celebrity interview, New York Jet Tim Tebow appeared Sunday morning at a church-sponsored Father???s Day program at Qualcomm Stadium. ... The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner from the University of Florida said the professional sports world does a poor job of providing good examples. "What???s so frustrating is, you have in today???s society so many famous athletes," he said. "If we would come together and be great role models, it would be amazing to see how the next generation turns out."

As little Timmy is not even a role model for quarterbacks, it's a stretch to infer that he's an athlete.

Be fair. His ability as a qb is debatable, his athleticism isn't.

I suspect a lot of athletes have a message for Tim Tebow, only it's not printable, at least not here.

FINALLY, we get to hear from Tim Tebow. I was wondering when we'd find out his views are. I mean, do we even know what religion this guy follows?

Except for that one time, when he lost to Alabama. It's said that only flowers grow where those tears fell. Drives the groundskeepers nuts.

What's next for Tebow, faith healing torn ACL's on the field. Is that why the Jets signed him?

June 18, 2012  08:49 AM ET

Tebow,

Please forgive these posters for they know not what to say.
