Miles from trial, light shines on Penn State football

08:34 AM ET 06.18 | Not far from the unfortunate trial taking place about 10 miles away, the Penn State football team is working itself to exhaustion four days a week. The Nittany Lions are deep into a new offseason workout program that features weightlifting teams, competitive Fridays and, yes, sledgehammers to tractor tires. The enterprise has little to do with the past. Since taking over as Penn State's head football coach, Bill O'Brien has maintained a healthy respect for the late Joe Paterno and a healthy distance from the Sandusky scandal. He has transformed the program with a new coaching staff, new playbook and new strength program that he's eager to introduce to the public.

Yes, that's completely meaningless. Much like this story.

I actually sent the mods two emails this morning, pleading our case to post bikini pics, hoping they will let us go back to doing so on the BB threads, never hurts to ask, they have not responded yet, they may not, but they should at least acknowledge with some kind of response.

I'd rather they get things consistently working first, personally. Double posts, spinny thingy, etc., THEN open up the morals meter.

So, Sandusky's defense is 2 former coaches that admit they showered with boys before, too. Good strategy, defense lawyer. Just let him go away and never let him be seen again.

Seems like Penn State didn't want anyone to see this.

Read that Sandusky's defense may include Histrionic Personality Disorder... One of our regular posters could be consulting with the defense for a little pocket money.
