Ravens set target weight for McKinnie

08:02 AM ET 06.19 | During a radio appearance heading into the weekend, Bryant McKinnie essentially confirmed what John Harbaugh said earlier in the week -- that we shouldn't read too deeply into the big lineman's being held from practice. The 32-year-old veteran explained that the Ravens would like to see him play at about 345 pounds -- which is close to his college size. He appears to be well on his way. McKinnie revealed that he left minicamp at 354 pounds, so he only has nine more to lose before training camp begins in late-July. ... And the reason he didn't practice with the team last week? "They just told me when I had the meeting, just for precautionary [reasons], not to go out there and get injured during minicamp."

Nah, they've got insurance for that. But they have to pay his salary if he gets hurt.

The new measure of weight for linemen in the NFL is the Jamarcus, and the Ravens want McKinnie to weigh in at no more than 0.75 Jamarcuses.

Fail.
People don't get full eating crabs. They usually get tired or picking, or filled up with beer.

Not about getting full. It's about the calories, sodium and fat especially with the butter. Easy there Bawl....

You have no idea what you are talking about. For example, if you're eating crabs in Maryland, you aren't using butter.
Please, stop before you hurt yourself.

You really need to get over yourself. Don't care how you or your fellow Baltimorons eat crabs. You think a 380 lb. Professional lineman doesn't use it? And maybe with Old Bay seasoning? Lighten up chump - you already proven your ability with humor. Go get drunk on Nattie Bo now, minion

He has had to many twinkles to get down to the Ravens weight scale. They will probably cut him and some other team will give him one more chance.
