08:03 AM ET 06.19 | Lincoln Financial Field has, by all accounts, been good to the Eagles, but any building could stand improvement after a decade. [Team president] Don Smolenski on Monday confirmed a report that the Eagles are looking at enhancements to the Linc. ... SportsBusiness Journal obtained a proposal listing some of the enhancements the Eagles are considering, including field-level boxes, additional seats, improved video boards, renovations to clubs on the east and west sides, and upgrades to the entrances. The plans also mentioned a sports bar/restaurant at HeadHouse Plaza. SBJ's report cited industry insiders who put the cost of possible renovations at $60 million to $100 million. Smolenski declined to elaborate, but did say the Eagles would be on the hook for any refurbishments.

Heck, do what every other owner is doing - demand a new stadium, or imply a move to LA if they don't get it.

And screens to prevent fans from throwing bottles and batteries at Santa.

Biggest improvement for that stadium would be a football team.

Wow, no love for the Eagles this morning, and right after the media proclaimed that this could be their dream season.

June 19, 2012  08:42 AM ET

They need to enlarge the doors and reinforce the walkway at the coach's entrance.

June 19, 2012  08:46 AM ET

I wonder if Smolenski is embarrassed when he hangs out with the other NFC East Execs. What are there 11 or 12 SB trophies in the division and none in Philly?

The place is 10yrs old and out of date? Maybe a little live entertainment in those clubs would help.
