08:25 AM ET 06.19 | New Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin isn't scared of a life in the SEC, but he isn't under any illusions that a red carpet is waiting for the Aggies. And he's got a message for Aggie fans who can't wait to visit the stadiums of their newfound foes. "Our fans all the time say, 'I can't wait to get to the Swamp, I can't wait to get to Tiger Stadium,'" Sumlin told a crowd at the Touchdown Club of Houston last week. "I said, 'Pshh.' I bet you'll have a different answer for me next year. ... Guess what, buddy, they're not going to be shaking your hand." Well, any Aggie fan eager to get to the home fields of Florida or LSU will have to wait until next year, but Sumlin's point is clear: don't expect a warm and fuzzy reception just because we're the new guy.

Well, I'd tell all the ags to act like NORMAL people, and they'd get a much better reception by Gumps/Barners/MulletJorts, etc.

That's wayyyyy too much to ask, though, I'm pretty dammm certain.

walmart greeter??????????

The walmart greeter is actually more welcomed and respected than what I do.

Let's just say my "clients" welcome the IRS, the Grim Reaper and the Legions of Death more than they welcome me.

u a bookie?

Nah, they are more welcome too. Let's just say I'm a "hired gun" for school districts that spend more than they earn mostly in payroll/contracted services.

And to compound the problem, the vast majority of them are totally aware that they are doing it. Many on purpose.
