08:03 AM ET 06.20 | Entering the fourth year of a five-year deal, Percy Harvin isn't happy with what he sees. [Harvin] never mentioned the word "contract." But he mentioned the word "unhappy" more than once. The Vikings receiver hinted at the start of mandatory minicamp Tuesday that he won't be at training camp late next month unless the remaining two years of the five-year, $12.05 million deal he signed as a rookie in 2009 are reworked. "I'll put it this way, it's a lot of different things that have to be sorted out," Harvin said. "Just haven't been too happy lately. So we've got a couple things to work on." ... Harvin added: "I don't want to be a distraction. ... Any issues I have, on a personal level, are dealt with aside from the team."

Yeah because a red hot team like the Vikings are in desperate need to sign Percy, they'll just throw money at him

Indeed!

Missing training camp will cost him $30K per day. If he thinks he's unhappy about money now, think of how much less happy he'll be if he's dumb enough to not show up.

Sorry Percy, any available money is going towards the new stadium. Enjoy your temper tantrum/hold out.

Easy for us to say when we don't have to endure the same punishment...look at what dude is making (relatively speaking) compared to what his value is to that team, its peanuts.

In the corporate world we only WISH we could have leverage to get raises that we are promised and never get...but we dont...I still don't knock these guys for wanting to be paid equal value. Once their skills decline, the owners WILL NOT HESITATE to cut them and void the contract so...
