Petrino sells home at $550,000 loss

08:25 AM ET 06.20 | Former Arkansas Razorbacks football coach Bobby Petrino has reportedly sold his Fayetteville mansion for $1.7 million. Petrino and his wife, Becky, bought the 8,741-SF home and 2.88 acres from Justin and Susan Salter in March 2008 for $2.25 million. Salter paid $205,000 for the land and built the home in 2006. The property appraised in 2010 for $1.63 million. Petrino put the home up for sale more than two years ago, trying to downsize. It was recently being offered for a reduced price of $1.99 million. In May, Petrino also unloaded his home on Beaver Lake in Benton County. ... Petrino was earning an average salary of $3.5 million per year when he was fired.

Hey I'm here. Just been busy. What time do the Gators play the Longhorns in the College World Series? I can't seem to find the listing.
Anyway, oddly enough the neighborhood Petrino lives in is also home to Dave Van Horn (baseball coach, Tom Pagnozzi, former St. Louis Cardinal catcher and former home of John Pelphrey. I also heard Mike Anderson bought a lot there and Carrie Underwood's mom lives around there somewhere. $1 million + homes in Fayetteville so you can imagine how big and nice they are.
