08:25 AM ET 06.20 | Former Arkansas Razorbacks football coach Bobby Petrino has reportedly sold his Fayetteville mansion for $1.7 million. Petrino and his wife, Becky, bought the 8,741-SF home and 2.88 acres from Justin and Susan Salter in March 2008 for $2.25 million. Salter paid $205,000 for the land and built the home in 2006. The property appraised in 2010 for $1.63 million. Petrino put the home up for sale more than two years ago, trying to downsize. It was recently being offered for a reduced price of $1.99 million. In May, Petrino also unloaded his home on Beaver Lake in Benton County. ... Petrino was earning an average salary of $3.5 million per year when he was fired.

Bet his neighbors are pizzssed that he sold so low, dragging down the neighborhood comps. I wonder if he left his wrecked Harley in the garage, too.

So, get a story about cfb that we would want to comment on. Who cares, good for him.

Ditto.

Hollywood may buy his story for $5 million or so. He'll do alright.

I wonder if he made enough off of the house to buy himself a neck?

Bobby Petrino: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!

He'd have done better to get him a Filipina and set her up over in Manila and go visit her during the spring/summer in between Spring practice and Summer camp.

Yeah, I don't buy WPS's whole "just a good ol' Arky boy" thing. Dude is wicked smart, like a shark he smelled blood in the water. Bet he got a helluva financing deal, too -- if he didn't just write a personal check for it.

Avoided paying the capital gains tax that way, too. Told you the guy was wicked smart.

Nice thought, but it would probably be more like Paris Hilton.

I'm putting an APB out on WPS. Arky thread, and he's a no-show.

Hey I'm here. Just been busy. What time do the Gators play the Longhorns in the College World Series? I can't seem to find the listing.

Anyway, oddly enough the neighborhood Petrino lives in is also home to Dave Van Horn (baseball coach, Tom Pagnozzi, former St. Louis Cardinal catcher and former home of John Pelphrey. I also heard Mike Anderson bought a lot there and Carrie Underwood's mom lives around there somewhere. $1 million + homes in Fayetteville so you can imagine how big and nice they are.

You're looking for too much here, methinks.
