08:33 AM ET 06.20 | Four-time 30-goal scorer Bobby Ryan could once again be on the trade market. TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie tweeted on Tuesday that Ryan may be available again after he was taken off the market following the departure of former Ducks head coach Randy Carlyle last fall. Ryan's name was mentioned in trade rumours at several points last season. Tuesday's news comes just three days before the first round of the NHL Draft, where the trade market tends to pick up. The durable 25-year-old has missed just one game over the past three seasons. He tallied 31 goals and 26 assists last season, and has cracked the 30-goal plateau in each of the last four campaigns.

Has to be worth more than gold if if Luongo's price is the standard.

I thought all Ryan's problems were with Carlyle. Why would they want to move him now, especially when his game rounded back into form under Boudreau?

JVR and (fill-in name here) to Anaheim for Ryan...it's time for him to come home to the Flyers (that is if they don't trade JVR to Columbus for Steve "I won't be worth my contract in 5 years" Nash. BTW, does it matter if his contract isn't worth it if he bring Philly a cup.

That record is a reflection of the team and coaching, not an individual player.

Agreed but they do not have much depth and their core did not play that well last year they need to tweak their core and get better depth

Plus it'd be hard to get rid of Getzlaf after last years nightmare season.
And Perry> Ryan

Getzlaf has been on the decline for the past couple of years, yet he's still only 27. He's also coming up on the last year of his contract.

Trading Ryan will make the Ducks better how?

Don't think any one trade will do it

Maybe the smog has clouded their brains but I'd like to see him in a Caps uniform come October. We should have $$ to burn and McPhee has been stockpiling picks. We need another 20+ goal winger and I'm sure George wouldn't mind parting with a couple of them............

No kidding..that line has the potential to be the very best in the league.

Seems like players don't play good for the Caps, especially those Russkies.

Some do, some don't. I think the time for a major shake-up is here. It will be the second one under Leonsis's watch if he lets it happen.

He's a 30 plus man that I think will even get you forty some year...he'd look good in a Caps uni.

Getzlaf, Visnovsky, Lydman, Perry and Koivu's contracts are up in 13-14 all UFA's I think the Ducks have to clear up some money if they want to keep more than 1/2 of these guys.
