08:10 AM ET 06.21 | Less than six weeks after undergoing surgery to repair the torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, Derrick Rose has reportedly headed to see Dr. James Andrews in Alabama. Two people familiar with the visit said the clinic has a rehabilitation specialist that both Rose's camp and the Bulls had planned to consult all along. Rose could stay awhile. It's important to remember Rose, his family and advisers all unanimously agreed to have Cole perform the surgery, citing their comfort level, trust and familiarity with him. By all accounts, that trust and comfort level remains. ... "I talked to Derrick (Tuesday)," said John Lucas III, one of Rose's closest friends. "His spirits are great. He said his rehab is going great."

How do you figure Deng is on the decline?

His skills may not be (yet) his body sure is on the decline. Plus he didn't opt for surgery right now so he can play the Olys.
That means he's more banged up than before and soon enough pre-season starts.
Dend is dung....I mean done!

He's got a hurt hand, dude...doesn't mean his whole body is on the decline. Not seeing the evidence for that. Although with all the minutes he's played, it would not surprise me to see him decline/breakdown within the next couple seasons.

No kidding. Deng will miss about 1/2 the season if his wrist requires surgery (which it probably will) and Rose will miss AT LEAST 1/2 the season......and most likely the whole season.
So yeah.....next season is a wash!
But Deng is only 27 and Rose is only 23.....they both got a couple or three years left ;-) .

What? That he may miss half the season to repair a torn ligament is a sign that "his body sure is on the decline"?
Seriously? He gets whacked on the wrist that causes a torn ligament and 'his whole frickin' body is on the decline?
That's about the most stupid piece of illogic I've seen on this board in......forever (s-m-f-h)!

No.....not a "sore" ankle, he had a sprained ankle after stepping on another player's foot. He was completely recovered after 4 days.
Well.....I guess that's what you get for thinking......if you wanna call it that.
