08:14 AM ET 06.22 | Jason Kidd in Brooklyn? It could happen, if you believe Kidd. [In an ESPN radio interview on Thursday], the soon-to-be free-agent point guard left open the possibility of rejoining the Nets or playing for the Knicks next season. "I wouldn't mind either one," said Kidd, 39. "They both have great situations and I wouldn't rule those two out." The free-agency period starts July 1. It was pointed out that both franchises might not be ready to win championships immediately and he was asked if that's something that ultimately will be a deciding factor. "No," he said. "Winning comes in different stages. I had the opportunity to play for the Nets and no one ever thought we would achieve what we did as a team."

Sorry Jason, I loved you the first time around... but it just ain't gonna' be the same for another round. And anyway, you won't be dealing with Turnpike traffic anymore if it happens.

"They both have great situations..."
For what?
Yes he can help as a good mentor & back up PG, but neither will help him get near a another deep run for a ring.
Why bother, unless he just wants to play regardless of the team and their "great situation".

Kidd would be a good part-time player next year on a good team.

I would love to see Kidd and Nash splitting PG duties somewhere.

QUOTE(#8):

unfortunately- we don't need a 'set em up pg' with melo as the feature guy and him not willing to change- we need Lin to step up and play his game and we need a back up that can hit outside shots and defend and who's not a grandfather

Exactly! Which is why neither Baron or Bibby were worth a crap last season..

Stop Kidding Around, Bro.

Sometime you have to except reality, and the reality that is Jason Kidd is the game has to end and the end is now.

Just lip service from Kidd. He already has his ring. If Dallas wants him back, he should return.

It's more of a threat than a tease.

Actually he wouldn't mind playing for any team that paid him.
