08:29 AM ET 06.22 | With Brad Stuart signed, the Sharks might turn their attention to adding a forward. As the chances become slimmer and slimmer that the Sharks will make a major deal for Columbus' Rick Nash, the club may have to consider two other options to improve its scoring depth on the wings. Columbus continues to insist that Logan Couture be the centerpiece of a deal for its captain, and Couture is, rightfully, a non-starter with Sharks general manager Doug Wilson. One intriguing name that may make sense for San Jose is current Philadelphia Flyers winger James van Riemsdyk, whom the Sharks reportedly targeted back at the trade deadline, according to TSN.

JVR ends up with the Leafs. Then Bobby Ryan goes to the Flyers. And Schen (plus much more from the Flyers) ends up with the Ducks.

interesting...probably fantasy...but interesting.

Bobby Ryan and the Ducks 2nd to the Flyers.
JVR to the Leafs.

Ducks end up with both Schenns and fill holes at 2nd line centre and defense. Flyers get the man they want badly and get more offense. Leafs get hopefully a second line scorer.

Who says no to this deal? Flyers maybe?

I think it is a win-win-win!

First the Schenn's, Staal's, and Subban's tonight at the draft.

Then soon get Zbynek Michalek in Ottawa and one of the Gionta's and one of the Foligno's to switch teams!

That's pretty complicated and I'm not sure that the NHL, GMs can work together like that.

I'd like to hear from the Philly contingent, but the Schuylkill and I-95 must be backed up this morning.
