I've never been to Mississippi, but my much older brother used to have to go to Hattiesberg on business. He seemed to enjoy the trips, but that may have had something to do with the young women he was working with in Hattiesberg. ;-)

Ok so he wants to labor in obscurity at FIU. I'm sure he has his reasons ...

Colonel, I see you enjoy traveling on the Natchez Trace Parkway too! Slow going (55 mph) but very scenic with minimal traffic, at least from Jackson to Tupelo. But wait, maybe you're thinking about traveling on it before they paved it? Heh, heh LOL

When I visit my brother in Arlington I am shocked by the air pollution in the metroplex.

Plus ... IMO we have the rudest driving habits in America. That's one reason I live 20 miles out and commute to the W. edge of FW. Going to DFW airport or Dallas is just painful ...

FIU,Rutgers,Pittsburgh, Houston, or Southern it really doesn't matter. The last time I check the money is still green and has Presidents pictures on them and it will spend anywhere. If any of you were a young coach and a chance to move up Hattisburg might look like heaven to you.

It is Dr....Lived in DFW about 18 yrs....best thing to happen was to move to the Gulf Coast.

As Jimmy Buffet sings...changes in latitude, changes in attitudes....

Yes, traffic density will bring it out of people behind the wheel. BTW, have you driven Boston during the evening commute hours?

Perchance, did his travels take place during the winter months?
