Teams interested in Iguodala

08:08 AM ET 06.24 | Just like last offseason, forward Andre Iguodala is connected to more trade rumors than any of his teammates. The 28-year-old forward has been mentioned in a possible deal involving the Los Angeles Lakers and center/forward Pau Gasol, something the Sixers front office will neither confirm nor deny. The Golden State Warriors, with four picks in the draft (7, 30, 35, and 52), are believed to be interested in adding a veteran small forward capable of playing defense to their starting lineup, and naturally Iguodala's name has come up. Another lottery team believed to be interested in possibly making a move for Iguodala is the Toronto Raptors, who own the eighth pick in the first round.

The Celtics should make a run at Iggy. He'd fit well with Rondo and the rest of the C's.

The reason this guy is on the block every year is because he is a #1 defensive option and would be on almost every NBA team. His scoring this past year was in the flow of the offense and within the team system. He is a stat sheet filler as well, adding boards, assists, and steals as well as lots of highlight moments. So, who cares if he is 3rd, 4th, 5th in scoring on your team? He brings a lot to the table and is definitely not overrated. Overpaid? Maybe, but look at others above him. There are not a lot of them I would trade even up except the obvious stars.

I'd take him as a wing for Kyrie to throw it up to.

I agree, but I think it's more like #2 or #3, depending on the team.

I can almost certainly guarantee you that they would NEVER trade him to their biggest rival. Never...ever...ever...

He'd fit in nicely with how the Bulls play but I dont see any possible way that happens unless there's a third team brought in

I LUV Iggy he's the Best Example of a Player that is Good at EVERYTHING & GREAT AT NOTHING But even though it seems he's been around 4ever he is still a Viable Starting SG/SF/ whatever u need just a Great Player I'd keep. But if a Trade is going to happen let it be to Golden State so PHILLY can Snatch up a Solid PF to Replace the seemingly AGE LESS Elton Brand who u have to drop a Hat to wth how long hes been effective in the NBA.

Hes like Deng but btr they've both been around for awhile but neither are even 30 lft, G-State would be Stupid not going after him, HE'D be a PERFECT FIT wth my KINGS but the 5th Pick is to much when were going to be able to hopefully add my Man from UNC HARRISON BARNES Btr Shooter/Speed/Potential then KIDD-GILCIST who's not as good of a Shooter but Btr DEF/B-BALL IQ/REB

The LAKERS COULD USE ANDRE REAL BAD BUT, they dont have any Trading Ammo aside frm BYNUM & GASOL who they wont let leave wthout a BIG cming wth IGGY like ELTON BRAND unless he's under Contract.
Either SF (BARNES Or KIDD-GILCREST) would finally SOLIDFY SAC's WING an STARTING LINEUP. PG-ISIAH THOMAS,SG-REKE,SF-H.BARNES,-PF-Hopefully a Solid F/A ?Thompson is a Great Bench/6th Man Player & C-DCOUS is just getting btr wth his Solid Jump Shot we say last Yr. Thats a Great Young Solid Starting Lineup, the Kings will make huge strides an stay in Sac.

He should sign a one year deal with the Miami Heat. A very good player whose aggressive style would fit in well with the Heat, and who knows, maybe get a ring?

Iggy is one of my favorite players in the league. I have done some coaching with younger kids and I LOVED having a guy who can do LOTS of things very well. Coach Collins has done a fantastic job with Iggy and Philly would be a FOOL for trading him now. Igyy was never going to be the next AI (and not just because he likes practice). Iggy just has limited offensive shooting skills. Philly made a mistake (boy, that would be new - sarcastic) in paying him too much money in hopes that he would DEVELOP into a great scorer. Not Iguodala's fault. They offer the money. You take it....... Coach Collins has understood that Iggy still can (and IS) the team leader, but through other ways. He is easily the best defender that other people feed off of and get inspired by. He is the catalyst of the offensive flow for Philly, and he is a penetrater who can dish. He is one of the best on-ball defenders in the league. (See: Shawn Marion, Grant Hill, Tony Allen -kind of,...let me know cause I know I am forgetting a couple.) Anyway, THAT is a valuable asset in this league. Philly keeps him and we maintain a defensive-minded team with whoever else joins up this summer. Philly trades him, and the team identity has to be redone after Collins has created such a beautifully-close-knit team.
Philly has enough redundant and not-so-helpful parts that can be used as trade bait.(We have about 28 centers who specialize in outside shots, for examle.)
Keep Iguodala.
