08:05 AM ET 06.25 | According to a Sunday report, Tarvaris Jackson will receive the first quarterback treatment when the Seahawks open training camp late next month. Jackson is the incumbent, and Clayton says higher-priced Matt Flynn has some work to do to overtake him. "(Flynn) hasn't wowed anybody in all the offseason program. And because of that, when they start training camp, Tarvaris Jackson will be taking the first snap," Clayton said. "... It's still gonna be a three-way competition. Because of that, Flynn's going to have to pick things up and wow everybody or at least take control of it during camp. He's not done it yet."

And after the ceremonial first snap, Pete Carroll will hand TJack the clipboard and Flynn will take over.

Paying Flynn 12 million to hold a clipboard suggests that Carroll is not truly in control of his team.

Flynn should fly in the Lions secondary to make him look good since they are the main reason he got the large contract in the first place

Not sure that would help. Maybe Ryan Leaf's community service could include a paid advisor position to the QB carousel - "here's what NOT to do"!

Did you notice the quote in the artcile that stated, ""(Flynn) hasn't wowed anybody in all the offseason program. And because of that, when they start training camp, Tarvaris Jackson will be taking the first snap," Yes it's early and Flynn could very well be the number one QB when the regular season starts, but I'm not going to be a lot of money on it!!!

Well you could add some janitorial work to Flynn's daily job list. No way PC puts Flynn in as his starting QB, until Matt has proven that he can handle the job. Granted Jackson is not all that good, but as of "TODAY", Jackson is the best QB on the Seahawk's roster, until proven different.

If you are starting TJack, then either you are a bad bad team, you need your head examined or every other QB on your team is out and the groundskeeper is too tired.

No, that's not necessarily the case. Could be he's a knowledgeable fan who has a life and may not be able to live, eat and sleep sports television because of those other life obligations.
Just sayin'.
